Garlic Parmesan Chicken

Ingredients:

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

Salt and black pepper, to taste

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/2 cup Italian breadcrumbs

1/2 cup all-purpose flour

2 eggs, beaten

4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional for garnish)

Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking dish and set aside.

Season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper.

In a shallow dish, combine the grated Parmesan cheese and Italian breadcrumbs.

Place the flour in another shallow dish, and the beaten eggs in a third shallow dish.

Dredge each chicken breast in the flour, shaking off any excess. Then dip it into the beaten eggs, allowing any excess to drip off. Finally, coat the chicken in the Parmesan breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere.

Place the coated chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish.

In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter and minced garlic. Drizzle the garlic butter evenly over the chicken breasts.

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the coating is golden brown and crispy.

Remove from the oven and let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving.

Garnish with chopped parsley, if desired, and serve hot.

Enjoy your Garlic Parmesan Chicken!
